Dark Dreams, Pt2. Community - Scene in Unreal Engine 5.0EA

'Community' is Part 2 from a 3-part series of videos under the collective name of 'Dark Dreams'

Dark Dreams Pt2. Community is probably the least 'dark' of the 3 scenes. that's true for both it's colors as it's atmosphere. It's also probably the most abstract thing I created in a long time and by far the most abstract scene I created in Unreal Engine. But there was some kind of appeal for me to work with these simple cubes, give them a purpose and then just work with framing and creating a feeling.

Feel free to interpret this in any way you want, but for me the bittersweet feeling of a community collapsing, makes it part of the 'Dark Dreams'-set.

The fun part here was to bring some rigid body dynamics from Cinema 4D to Unreal.

I had been longing to get back and do some portfolio work, because I have been quite busy the past few weeks, and I was playing around with this idea of using very simple shapes or models to create some very atmospheric scenes, and then I watched a webinar on sending your Mograph animations from Cinema 4D to Unreal using the datasmith plugin and those 2 things sparked some ideas.
